This Decker Lock fits older pop up camper entry doors. This lock was used by Jayco, Starcraft, and other older pop up camper makes and models.

This lock has 2 separate locking functions; a manually operated latch for the inside privacy lock and a key operated outside lock. The key operated outside lock will not lock or unlock the indoor privacy latch. A sticker on the indoor privacy lock itself warns Caution: Unlock Latch Before Closing Door. This is a warning to prevent you from being locked out of the camper if the door were to close with the indoor latch in the right (locked) position. The indoor latch will automatically switch to the left (unlocked) position by opening the door using the indoor latch only, a safety feature designed to allow for emergency exit purposes. When the door has been closed with the indoor latch in the unlocked position, you may lock the camper from the outside by inserting the key and turning it all the way to the left before removing the key. To unlock the key operated outside lock, insert the key and turn it all the way to the right.
